In My Own Words…

Where have you encountered a place where you felt calm? Maybe a breakfast nook, or a well loved chair, muted by years of sunlight. For me, it is my own bedroom area where I have a tray with my favorite globe lamp, a stack of books, and a few sentimental objects.

The way I think of planning out a space is a lot like a good painting or a beautiful poem - a bit of texture, color, shape, and personality, and we have a masterpiece, especially if we have someone to help us with small revisions. I have learned this lesson in my own family’s homes over the years.

The majority of what I do is guide home owners and sellers through the process of readying their homes for photos. When working with these clients, I am very aware of the stress and ache of what they are going through, and want to ease the burden by providing an excellent and clear plan. In my design work,I bring hints of nature and simplicity to my work, and love sourcing art from local artists.
